Description:
Position Title: Corporate Security Director
Position # 107723
Location: Arlington, VA
Position Summary
This corporate headquarters staff position is responsible for the effective and efficient execution of security, safety, and export-control programs at all Logos locations (currently seven) across the U.S. Management and oversight includes specialized expertise, guidance, advice, training, and support to employees at all levels of the company. The position reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer, and all corporate security and export-control employees and contractors (as required) report to the Corporate Security Director. Logos is a rapidly growing small business without senior security resources to provide expertise for this position. Therefore, the employee filling this position must be able to quickly assess the status of existing programs, and then prioritize and execute effective solutions without the need for additional training or extensive familiarization.
The successful candidate will have sufficient experience in the field to have established relevant connections that can be relied on for assistance when needed (such as for expediting necessary approvals) and identifying additional security employee candidates that will be needed as Logos grows. It is desired that the candidate also have connections that will lead to the identification of new business opportunities for program security-related work that could be performed by a Logos division that currently is doing similar work.
Early work will be very hands-on while effective, compliant, and efficient processes and policies are developed and attain maturity, and security employees are able to perform their responsibilities with less supervision. Logos is committed to supporting ongoing education and training to maintain the highest level of competence and professionalism for this and all security positions. |
