About Ministry of Defense Advisors Program

The Ministry of Defense Advisors (MoDA) program is designed to forge long-term relationships that strengthen a partner nation's defense ministry. The program matches senior Department of Defense (DoD) civilians with their foreign counterparts for one to two years. Prior to deployment, advisors undergo a comprehensive seven-week course, which includes modules on adult education, Afghan language and culture, and institutional capacity-building. The MoDA program is currently recruiting for a wide range of positions in Afghanistan at the Ministries of Defense and Interior.
